NotM: An Angel's Pledge
The sound of the waves crash upon the sand,
As Maggie see's shinies upon the land,
A thin misty fog is in the air,
Making the young Captain unaware,
So lost in her collection,
She doesn't see,
An angel standing in front of her,
with black tipped crimson wings,
As Maggie walks forward
Her eyes begin to clear
No more shines are seen
But a woman instead
Who are you?
Why are you in my dream?
What sort of magic trick
Has brought you here to me?
Soft black eyes shine with delight
Seeing her dear friend in her daughters eyes
Bending down gracefully upon her knee
She lowers her head respectfully,
I have made this pledge once before
To sail

Angel's Recovery: A Night Out
--11-- A night out
As soon as the gangway connected the Sangue-Padre with the port of Garon, the majority of the crew went to explore the town. The ship was actually quiet when Angel walked onto the deck.
“Are you ready?” Angel asked Aisuru.
She had on a pair of leggings, her leather black boots, a loose black shirt tucked in, and a crimson lace vest with black ribbons. She strapped justice and vengeance to each thigh and decided to wear her hair loose and brushed the overly long wavy strands until they shined.
Angel stood their excited and waited for Aisuru to answer.
He took a deep breath and turned to face her. ”I am

---10--- Trusting Men
A month had passed by and their training was more intense. Aisuru made each session different, extremely difficult and pushed Angel until she got it right. What she didn’t know was when they reached port he would be leaving for a bit. He knew she would wish him well and not ask any questions. The assassin always the calm one, was worried a little about leaving her at this time, that is why he was so hard on her, past normal lengths for someone with no powers to use against him. Aisuru admitted she was a natural. She learned quick and never complained. The difference from when they first started until now was ama

Melting A Frozen Heart
Melting A Frozen Heart
Laying here on a stone crypt,
The moon watching over me
As I rest here icy and alone,
A heart no longer that is warm,
It's completely frozen and cold,
Reaching all the way to my barren soul,
You lay there my little one
Embracing the bitter cold,
Thinking that there is nothing left
That you are all alone,
Feel my touch on your creamy skin,
Burning through the arctic cold that
Now encases your soul,
What is this foreign feeling
That is trying to touch my heart?
Reaching and searching around,
Leaving so much warmth,
Who is that strokes my skin,
With such tender hands,
What is this spark that

The training continued for weeks and little by little Angel got stronger, faster and in better shape than she had ever been. She had a schedule and she stuck it to like glue. It was an intense, but it was paying off. Sadly it consumed a lot of her time, therefore she wasn’t seeing the other crew members as much as usual. But this was something she wanted more than anything, it was the driving force that kept her going.
The regiment consisted of toning her muscles, strengthening them, practicing stealth, training the use of her weapons and kept her busy from morning until night. “No pain, no gain”, w

After eating Angel went back to her room to get some rest before her first night of training. Once she laid on the bed she sighed and tried to get comfortable, but ended up tossing and turning. Eventually, she sat up against her pillows and rubbed behind Omega’s ears. She went to reach for the book she used to read when she spotted another rose. This one was a pure white rose and was put carefully across her book. Angel reached over and picked it up. Bringing it up to her nose she took a small whiff of the fragrant blossom. “Beautiful.” She whispered as she gazed at it. She ran her fingertips across the

With nothing going on, the crowd scattered again.
“If you want to, I will have a word with Abbey, so she won’t be offended by what happened. Or start doubting her cooking”, Riddle suggested with a warm smile.
“I would like this, me Riddle.” Angel said a bit relieved.
“On one condition.” The trickster decided to add a little twist in.
“Oh and what would that be?” Angel asked curiously.
“You must go and eat a little something. For me?” She gave Angel a sly look as she waited for her answer.
Angel looked at Riddle for a moment, “Mm...okay for you.” She gav

The sounds of activity and the brightness of the suns rays awoke Angel. Rubbing her eyes, she opened them finally and looked about. “I must have fallen asleep up here”, Angel thought. Looking down she gasped in surprise when she saw a red rose lying in her lap. She gently picked it up and smiled. Angel wondered who had given it to her as she held up to smell its sweet scent.
Across the deck the one who gave it to her grinned at the joy on her face. It was a rare treat to see and he felt his heart jump. Smiling to himself he turned and headed below to the galley to join the others for breakfast.
Abbey was in her elem
Halloween Date
It had been several weeks since Dexter found Zyanya at the house in England. As he promised, Dexter never left her side yet he was very concerned about her. Though she loved the two snow leopard cubs he had gotten for her, Zyanya still seemed unusually quiet and withdrawn. There are many times he caught her just staring out the window with the link between them closed. He often wondered what she was thinking or how she was feeling. The loss of the castle and her beloved pet took a toll on her. For a Vampire she had many human traits to her still, it was one of the reasons he fell in love with her. Leaning against the door he j

Angel felt bad for yelling at Riddle and Sarah, but she just needed some time for herself. There were not many places to be alone on the ship and she yearned to be in her favorite spot. Walking up to the upper deck she leaned against the rail and looked longingly up at the beam she sat on many of nights. She flexed her wings, but resisted the temptation to fly up there. Instead she wrapped them around her tightly and sighed loudly.
“You sound very unhappy Angel.” Zane said to her.
Angel closed her eyes for a moment as she held back a smart retort. “I am..” She said softly.
“Can I help in somewa
