we drifted,
floating upon the warm waves
releasing our will
to its everlasting embracing
lifted by the powerful tides
enough to make us cry
never questioned where we may arise
nor noticed the riptide
we drifted,
further and further apart
pulled by the undertow
we were drowning in doubt
all hope was lost
the more we fought
swept under by passion
resentment had won the bout
we drifted,
until pushed upon the shore
separated by life's sand
we stood alone once more
greeted by the ocean's foam
the water had turned so cold
reminding us to not let go
but remain in the bittersweet soil

Angel's Recovery: Good Intentions
4:Good intentions
After Frederic left Angel rose from the bed, determined to find Aslansa and get some answers. Calling the wolves over to her, she left her room and walked down the corridor towards his. It didn’t take long and she promptly knocked on the door. “Aslansa?” She called out to him.
Aslansa looked up from the book he was reading when he heard Angel’s voice. He placed it on the table and walked over to the door. Taking a silent breath he opened. “Hello Angel. Come in.” He stepped back some and waited for her to enter.
Angel entered the room. “We need to talk. I need….no….I
At what point do you decide to live?
To kiss away the knife of your mind
As it bleeds into your core
Cleaving your sanity
At what point do you breathe?
To inhale your heartbeat
So as to remind you
There’s air in this world
At what point do you hope?
To cross one star to another, amongst a sea of black
Knowing that what’s dark
Will only help stir the brightest of lights
At what point do you value?
To be indebted to the ground that you were raised
And walk its path
With a rightful stride
At what point do you concede?
To let these words pry their way in
Nestling with you
Rousing your conscience

I Will Believe That You're Okay...
If you tell me you're fine,
Then I won't question it.
I won't ask you about the cuts,
Or the bruises.
I'll turn a blind eye to everything...
Instead I'll ask that you join me tonight,
And maybe we'll cook ourselves a little supper.
Maybe you'd like to stay over? It'd be cool!
We'll watch a movie, play a few games.
C'mon you know how much I suck at monster hunter,
Be my wingman--er, lady tonight
And in the morning, let's go for a walk,
There's a huge park just a short distance away.
We could go on one of those nature trail things!
Hell yeah? Hell yeah!
And maybe, after you've had some time to think,
You'll see that things ain't quite a
Silently the snow does fall
Silently covering all
Silently burrying the pain
You don't want to feel again
Slowly slowly freeze the stream
Slowly slowly mute the scream
Slowly slowly start to heal
Behind walls and under seal.
Snow flake, snow flake floating down
Crystal for an icy crown
Snow flake, snow flake was too much
Too heavy weights its soft touch
And within a single second
Nothing stays the same
Something you hadn't reckoned
Suddenly changes the game
Memories fill up the room
So many you can't breathe
Too numerous to sort through
They hit and take you along
Filling up the ears, mouth and nose
Also filling up your mind
You can't esca
SAVE
Four litte letters,
Twelve little cuts,
Twelve to many.
Carved into your leg,
Where no one would see it.
Not until you trusted them.
A scar, a mark, an inperfection.
Words you use.
But to me, its more than that.
A badge, a symbol, proof you are real.
A silent plea for help,
One no one can see.
I see it now.
All I have to say is,
I'm sorry I'm late,
But I'm here to save you now.
The Fallen, give us their lives,
They give everything,
So that we might know peace
But, we dismiss them with ease,
Tell me, what would you do,
If you were one of these?
The Fallen...
The Fallen, they are everything,
That we should want to be
They give up their dreams,
They trade them for the screams,
Of people we will never know
And it goes to show,
Their faith is deeper,
Than you thought it would go...
Yes, the Fallen...
For the Fallen, I raise my hand,
I raise my voice up to the wind
I will hold them high above me,
And honor their memories
For the rest of my life,
I will pray for those left behind,
And for the Fallen...
The Fallen,
To those of you, you know who you are
Who caused the wound, the unhealing scar
To those of you who discriminate by race
Or what gender we like or what’s on our face
To those of you who gave me hate
And the confidence of others do your hands taint
To those of you who soiled my trust
And dragged my name through the dust
To those of you who hate me somehow,
Just got one thing to say: Look at me now.
